True to their "near-pair" nature, the items show slight differences in shape, as well as in the color of the patina, probably due to differences in exposure to moisture, but possibly just because the lighter one was simply polished more often. The patina is very attractive, mild, and even in both cases.

In excellent condition. One of the items has a tiny nick to the metal of the round part of the base, and that constitutes the entirety of damage to the pair. Tiny spots of verdigris add to the air of age and authenticity, very attractive.
