Brass gilt, enamels; measures 30.6 x 24.0 mm. Two-piece construction: the star is a separate, superimposed part. Late version without the serial number.

In very fine condition. The red enamel on the banner and the white plaque with the "2" are pristine and show magnificent luster. The star has a couple of tiny chips and hairlines on the lower right arm, not very noticeable and certainly not too detractive. The screw post is full length, over 9 mm, and comes with the original mint-marked screw plate.
