In brass with gilt finish; high quality "hot-baked" enamels (on the national emblem), paint (on the numeral for the qualification level). Measures 27.2 mm in height, 69.7 mm in width. The Romanian state emblem is a separate, superimposed part. Very well-made, massive badge.

Excellent condition! The enamels are perfect. There is attractive patina to the wings while the gilt finish is still clearly visible in recessed areas. Includes full-length screw post measuring over 11 mm in length and a period screw plate which is probably original to the badge.
