Medal (Badge) of an Honored Worker of Energy Industry of the USSR, 1970s-80s.
In silver-plated and gold-plated brass, paint and lacquer; medallion is 39.6 mm tall (incl. eyelet) x 35.7 mm wide. Nice artwork with hydroelectric dam, high voltage power lines, model of an atom and gilded ears of wheat on the sides. The reverse has Lenin's quote "Communism is Soviet Rule Plus Electrification of the Entire Country" (which of course later gave birth to a politically incorrect joke "To get electrification of the entire country, subtract Soviet rule from Communism").
