In silver-plated and gold-plated brass, paint and lacquer; medallion is 39.6 mm tall (incl. eyelet) x 35.7 mm wide. Nice artwork with hydroelectric dam, high voltage power lines, model of an atom and gilded ears of wheat on the sides. The reverse has Lenin's quote "Communism is Soviet Rule Plus Electrification of the Entire Country" (which of course later gave birth to a politically incorrect joke "To get electrification of the entire country, subtract Soviet rule from Communism").

In excellent condition. The reverse has engraved number 14074 which was probably added by the original recipient, most likely the number of his award certificate for the badge.
