In excellent condition, very uncommon for a hat of this type. The crown is completely free of moth bites - which is particularly unusual for the napped wool material - and has only one or two tiny tracks to the nap at the top, almost unnoticeable even at a very close inspection. The piping and magenta band are pristine. The hat has kept its trademark form perfectly. Both the exterior and interior are immaculately clean and fresh. The visor has a few minor scuffs to the brim and is very slightly warped as it typically the case, otherwise intact. The sweatband and liner are practically free of wear; the factory logo is well-preserved and fully legible. The hat has held its trademark shape perfectly.
A truly superb early piece.
