The original is one of the most widely known images of Stalin, a 1943 portrait by Boris Karpov, a famous Soviet artist who worked in the most conservative version of Socialist Realism which looked almost like hyper-realism. Among his graphic works are portraits of Soviet military, political, and scientific leaders, Heroes of the Soviet Union and Socialist Labor, famous actors. His signature is seen in the lower right-hand corner of the image.

In excellent condition. Tilting the poster to reflect a bright light reveals slight wrinkles to the paper. However, they are completely invisible when looking at it at a normal viewing angle.
