Medal for the Capture of Budapest, Variation 2, 1940s .
In brass; 32.2 mm wide; weighs 17.3 g not including the suspension and connecting link. Features a "classical" Variation 2 U-shaped eyelet.

Comes on an original suspension device, an early post-war two-layer model in brass with integral catch of the pin. The old, possibly original
ribbon is extremely well-preserved and attractive. Overall, a superb example of the Variation 2 Budapest Medal which from our experience, is
more scarce than Var. 1.
