Scarce version of the badge featuring perfectly flat reverse without the stippling or maker mark (unlike the more common version having a slightly concaved reverse with stippling pattern and raised maker mark). Quality is marginally better than of the other variation.

Excellent condition. The gold paint is perfect. The gold finish is extremely well-preserved and bright showing just a tiny amount of wear at the raised points of the hilt of the sword and numeral "50".
