"Soviet Porcelain: the Artistry of the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory, Leningrad", by Alla Lansere, C 1974, RSFSR Artist Publishing House, Leningrad.
Russian and English text, cloth-bound hard cover, 278 pp, massive 9¾ "x 12" x 1" format. Printed in East Germany, this deluxe "coffee table" album was apparently intended exclusively for export or sale to foreign tourists via Intrursit retail stores. The book contains large format photos of 200 selected works by the LFZ, the most famous of all Soviet porcelain makers.

The text portion (fully translated into English) provides a very complete historical review and description of unique technological methods employed by the factory. Special attention is given to person

We have only one copy of this scarce Soviet publication in stock, in excellent condition. There are mild, barely noticeable corner bumps but the cloth binding is perfectly clean and still retains its vibrant color. There is mild age toning to the text pages; the interior is in otherwise mint condition.
