The wings and swords insignia is embroidered in gold and silver bullion and red silk on diamond-shaped background in olive drab wool with canvas backing. The embroidered insignia measures 85.8 mm in width, 48.5 mm in height; overall size is approx. 94.5 mm x 54 mm. In excellent condition, probably an unissued example. The embroidery is tight and free of snags; the wool backing is clean and free of moth damage.
