In fine-quality steel gray wool with sky-blue collar tabs. The shoulder boards are service style, in grey tress with sky-blue stripes. The buttons are dated 1977 on the back indicating the likely late 1970s or early 80s manufacture for the greatcoat. There are no maker tags, and the quality is excellent throughout, indicating that this coat may have been individually tailored rather than mass-produced.

Large size. Having 27" sleeves (seam to cuff) and a total length of approx. 46", the greatcoat will easily fit a 5'10" man. The chest size is about a European 50-52 (approx. equivalent of US size 40).

Outstanding, near mint condition. The greatcoat is completely free of soiling or the usual moth damage. Both the exterior and liner are immaculately clean and fresh. Overall, an extremely nice piece from the Soviet Afghan War era.
