Hungary, Air Force Medal for Safe Flying, 1000 Hours, circa 1970s-80s.

In brass and enamels, 39 mm wide. Three-piece construction: the Mig fighter jet and central portion bordered by a green laurel wreath are separate parts superimposed on the round medallion with a red enameled border. Shows the national emblem of the Hungarian People's Republic and the number of hours flown in the center.

Excellent condition; includes original tri-fold suspension ribbon.
