The medallion is in sterling silver; measures 40.2 mm in height incl. eyelet, 29.5 mm in width; weighs 21.2 g not including the suspension and connecting link. Overall weight with suspension is 27.9 g. The suspension is in silver-plated brass and enamels. There is a stamped mint-mark to the reverse of the pendant. Relatively early version of the Variation 2, featuring a hand-engraved serial number.

In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel on the suspension is perfect, completely free of even the microscopic contact marks that could be found under 10x magnification. The raised details of the artwork are perfect and exceptionally crisp. There is a very attractive even patina to the silver throughout.
