In anodized aluminum and paint, very large: measures 50.6 mm in height x 38.8 mm in width. The artwork features the skyline of Riga, laurel wreath, and aircraft turbine (on the left.) The enterprise specialized in service and repair of military aircraft engines, was considered a military unit, and therefore in the typical Soviet tradition of secrecy it is referred to only by its military code number V/Ch 36858. There is a year of manufacture "1983" stamped on the reverse, which means that the factory was founded in 1943 outside of Latvia and relocated to Riga at a later time, because the city and all of Latvia were under German occupation until late 1944.

A very scarce piece in excellent condition.
