In brass; measures 37.0 mm in height (incl. eyelet), 32.1 mm in width; weighs 15.4 g not including the suspension and connecting link. Features medallion of single-piece construction, with integral eyelet struck together with the rest of the medallion.

In excellent condition. Both sides of the medallion are completely free of any dings or other wear visible to the naked eye. The raised details are perfect and exceptionally crisp. The "gilt" mint luster finish is exceptionally bright throughout having just a couple of tiny oxidation spots that are nearly unnoticeable and certainly not detractive - no blemishes or significant tarnish. Comes on an aluminum suspension device with a perfectly preserved vintage ribbon which may be original to the medal. The connecting link has been cut but appears to be of the period. Overall, a superb example of the "Voenkomat" version of the scarce Sevastopol Medal.
