**Postcard Dawn of the Revolutionary Navy, 1986.**

The size is continental standard 6" x 4", unmailable without a cover, published by the Visual Arts Publishing House, Moscow, circulation 38,000, very small by Soviet standards. The artwork is an offset print of the 1956 oil-on-canvas painting by V. Pechatin, depicting, very likely, a winter morning at the Naval base of the Baltic Fleet near Petrograd at the time of the Russian February 1917 revolution.

In excellent, near-mint condition.
