Badge of a Participant of the VII Komsomol Conference a Naval Submarine Unit, circa 1970s-80s.

Anodized aluminum, paint, lacquer; measures 18.5 x 28.2 mm. Features the Soviet naval flag, outline of the Komsomol (VLKSM) member badge, and a submarine. In a typically Soviet secretive manner, the naval unit is not identified but it is believed to be a Black Sea submarine detachment. Excellent condition.
