In outstanding, excellent condition. The medallion is completely free of wear visible to the naked eye. The "gilt" mint luster is extremely bright and practically pristine, completely free of oxidation spots and showing only a very mild tarnish on the reverse. Comes with original suspension, an early version in brass. The ribbon is old but perfectly preserved and clean. The connecting link appears to be original; its ends are still joined with solder. Overall, a superb example of the "Voenkotmat" version of the Capture of Budapest Medal, practically impossible to upgrade.
