Lenin's Youth, a Miniature Set of 15 Photos in Book-Shaped Cover with Lenin's Bas-relief and Facsimile Signature on the Cover, circa 1970s-80s.
The cover, designed to look like a volume of Lenin's works, measures approx. 1 ½" in height, 1 ¼" in width, and is ¼" thick. The metal clasp allows to pull out a "harmonica" of 15 photos of Lenin's house in the city of Simbirsk, renamed "Ulyanovsk" in his honor; his parents, and himself as a child and young adult. An uncommon souvenir which probably was sold in Lenin's museum store. The price of 90 kopeks is stamped on the back of the last page.
In very good to excellent condition, showing just two tiny chips to the corners of the front cover. Hardly noticeable and not detractive. A fine curiosity to add to a collection of Lenin-themed memorabilia.
Please note that the penny in our photo is for size reference.
