Government Postcard Glory to October, inscribed, 1971.
The size is continental standard 6" x 4", with a pre-printed postal stamp canceled with the cancel of a Kiev district post office branch, dated 4 November 1972. Published by the Ministry of Communications of the USSR, circulation unknown. The name of the author of the artwork on the obverse, N. Kolesnikov, is printed in the upper left-hand corner on the verso. The inscription appears to be sent from a family of friends and contains well wishes on occasion of the Great October holiday.
In very good to excellent condition, just a few tiny bumps to the corners and edges, and a blurred spot to the ink which does not obscure the word.
