The size is 9" x 11 ½", 16 pp. including the cover. Printed on unbleached medium-quality paper, contains a large number of b/w photos illustrating the last events and encounters of the Soviet Army. The issue opens with a full-page obituary for Chief of the General Staff of the Soviet Armed Forces Marshal of the Soviet Union Boris Shaposhnikov, with his photo portrait and photos of Soviet leaders, headed by Stalin and Molotov, carrying the urn with Shaposhnikov's remains to the Kremlin wall where he was interned. The back cover gives the issue a bit of levity with its caricatures mocking the defeat of Nazi Germany.

In excellent condition. The covers show minimal soiling, barely noticeable against the unbleached tone of the paper. Wear to the edges and corners is negligibly small. The binding staple is strong and rust-free.
