Bond in the amount of 25 rubles for the Third Five-Year Plan, 1940.

Measures 5 �" x 4". In very good to excellent condition. Shows a light vertical fold and very minor corner bumps. The obverse has handwritten ink and pencil notations, not very detracting.

Issued to finance the final stage of Soviet industrialization program, this bond was issued literally on the eve of WW2. The Third Five-Year Plan was never finished due to the German invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941.
