Medallion is in solid silver, measures 29.2 mm wide; weighs 17.6 g without the suspension and connecting link, 24/6 g overall. The suspension device is in gilded brass and enamels. The medal is a relatively early version featuring a flat eyelet.

In very fine to excellent condition. The medallion is free of nicks, edge knocks or significant scratches. There is a very mild, barely noticeable wear to the highest points of the bas-relief artwork, but its details remain well preserved. There is a very attractive patina to silver on both sides. The enamel on the suspension is nearly perfect with the exception of s few contact marks and a single minuscule flake at the bottom edge on the left, almost unnoticeable to the naked eye. Overall, a very nice example.
