The size is 6" x 4 ½", postally used. The pre-printed government stamp is cancelled, the cancel is dated 27 June 1949. Two cancels on the verso are dated 28 June 1949. The cover is addressed personally to the Minister of State Security (MGB) of Georgian SSR, Lt. Gen. Rukhadze.

In very good to excellent condition. The letter must have been received in the Georgian MGB and officially processed and filed, judging by the filing punch holes on the left side. The paper is very clean and slightly wrinkled. The filing holes on the left side are on the margin and do not reach any of the printed or handwritten text. The ink is fresh and bright, the words are perfectly legible.
