Badge in Commemoration of the 45th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Baltics (during the Patriotic War), 1990 issue.
Anodized aluminum, paint, lacquer; the pendant is 52.2 mm in height incl. eyelet x 47.5 mm in width. The Russian-language inscription reads "45 Years (since) the Liberation of the Baltic (republics), 1944-1945". On the reverse of the suspension is the early-style logo of the Training and Industrial Enterprise #2, Moscow City Chapter of the All-Russia Society of the Deaf. An extremely large and impressive award in excellent condition.
Interestingly, the badge was issued at the time when all three Soviet Baltic-republics - Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania - had already declared their independence from the Soviet Union.
Please note, the penny in our photo is for size reference.
