In brass; measures 36.9 mm in height incl. eyelet, 32.1 mm in width; medallion weighs 16.1 g not including the suspension and connecting link. This scarce "Voenkomat" variation featuring a ring-shaped eyelet was awarded many years after the mass issue of 1948.

Excellent condition. The details are perfect on both sides. The finish is exceptionally bright throughout and has only a couple of tiny spots, no blemishes or significant tarnish. Comes on aluminum suspension with a perfectly preserved old ribbon. The connecting link appears to be original; its ends are still joined with solder.
