Navy Enlisted Man / NCO full dress white belt with brass buckle, dated 1986.

In white artificial leather, as used during military parades. Also worn by Honor Guard details at Lenin's tomb and numerous other national memorials. Solid brass buckle shows the Soviet Navy emblem of anchor with the military insignia of star and hammer & sickle. The back shows two stamps of a factory in the town of Bogorodsk with a 1986 date of manufacture. Fully extended, the belt will fit up to a 46" waist (US size 3XL), but it can be easily adjusted to fit much smaller sizes.

Very good to excellent condition. The ersatz leather is sound and fully retains its original gloss. The buckle shows attractive even patina and only a very minor tarnish along the edges that is not visually detractive. The exterior of the belt has light stains from the verdigris that has transferred from the back of the buckle, but it is not too noticeable when the belt is displayed on a mannequin. The inside of the belt shows only some dust, no stains. There is the name "A. V. Rudnik" inscribed on the inside, probably the original owner of the belt. Overall, a very well-preserved piece.
