WW2 Lithographic Poster Restoring your factory, 1944.

Large format, 23" x 33", printed on thin newsprint-quality paper. Published by the ART State Publishing House. The artist's name, T. Ksenofontov, is printed in the lower left-hand corner. The dome of the St. Isaac's Cathedral and the spire of the Petropavlovskaya Fortress in the background, two of the most recognizable Leningrad landmarks, make it clear that the message of the poster is addressed to the population of post-blockade Leningrad. It says, "Comrade! By re-building your factory, you are helping the Red Army to crush the enemy, you are bringing the victory closer!"

In very good to excellent condition. The wear is minimal and not very obvious: mild wrinkles to the paper along the edges, a couple of short tears to the margin, and small corner bumps. The worst offenders are seen in our photos. The tears can be easily repaired on the back, if desired. Bearing in mind that only 3,000 copies of this poster were ever printed, on newsprint-quality paper at that, this poster is truly a rare find in such a great condition, and will be an excellent backdrop to a collector's display dedicated to WW2 and the blockade of Leningrad in particular.

Please note that the 1-ft. ruler in our photo is for size reference.
