Brass, enamels; 30.9 x 17.7 mm. Very attractive and well-made piece. Raised maker mark on the reverse.

Excellent condition. The enamel shows only a minimal amount of surface rubbing, no chips, flaking or other flaws.

Unlike the other Spartakiadas, the DOSAAF events encompassed competitions in "technical and applied military" sports e.g. sharpshooting, radio proficiency, motorcycle and car races etc. As far as we know, the Second All-Union DOSAAF Spartakiada was the first among them to issue a special badge to its participants.
