Four-sided, in gold brocade with black piping and embroidered navy admiral rank stars, one on each board. Measure approx. 15 cm (6") in length along the longer side. Come in original factory wrapper marked "14 cm" (the actual length is actually much closer to 15 cm).

In excellent, near mint condition, never used. Completely free of soiling, discoloration, or moth bites to the backing. The wrapper shows tears but is still sound (one has to be careful however slipping it on or off the shoulder boards). Original shoulder boards of a flag officer in the Soviet Navy are an uncommon find, especially in such a perfect condition.
