In outstanding, excellent condition. The medal is completely free of wear visible to the naked eye and has only a couple of microscopic contact marks that are not easy to find even under a 10x magnification. The raised details are perfect and exceptionally crisp. There is an attractive light patina, no blemishes or significant oxidation; a good amount of the original "gilt" mint luster is visible in recessed areas. The medal comes on an original brass suspension device with a new ribbon. Overall, an unusually nice example of the otherwise common WW2 victory medal.
