Tank Corps School graduate badge, 1948 issue.
Brass, enamels; measures 35.6 x 27.3 mm; weighs 10.7 g without the screw plate. The plaque with the 1948 year of graduation is a separate superimposed part held by wires.
Very fine to excellent condition. The enamel is overall well-preserved and retains an attractive luster throughout. The white enamel has some minor surface flakes along the edges of the oval and plaque and a few tiny scratches in the center under the tank, none of it very noticeable or detractive. The red enamel on the banner has a few tiny contact marks and a couple of microscopic flakes in the left corner of the banner, practically invisible to the naked eye - otherwise perfect.
The details of the wreath and tank are crisp. The screw post is full length, over 10.5 mm, and includes the original screw plate maker marked "MTKh Enamel Factory, Moscow".
