Brass, "cold" enamels, far better made than a typical Soviet military veteran or anniversary badge of the period. The medallion measures 34.5 mm in height incl. eyelet, 32.3 mm in width; overall height with suspension is approx. 52 mm. The pendant shows a radar dish and antiaircraft rocket with the abbreviated name of the school ЖВУР ПВО ("ZhVUR PVO"). The suspension shows the colors of the ribbon of the Order of the Red Banner, signifying that the school has been awarded with this decoration.

Excellent condition. The enamel shows the usual manufacturing imperfections but no chips or any other significant wear. The pin attachment is intact and fully functional.
