In silver-plated brass and enamels; measures 18.6 mm wide, very well-made despite its small "lapel" size. Excellent condition.

Sudoimport was the Soviet agency tasked with commissioning various ships and nautical equipment in foreign countries and their importation into the USSR. Over the years, a surprising amount of such items was purchased in western countries such as Italy, Finland and many others. The badge was supposed to be worn by Sudoimport reps abroad or possibly given as a souvenir to foreign trade partners.
