Very large format measuring 11.5 x 15.5". In beveled leatherette-wrapped hard cover with embossed Lenin's profile, and the title, Book of Honor, also embossed, in gilt. The title page is, lavishly, in gilt. The inner page of the flyleaf has a large lithograph of Lenin's profile with his quote "We will come to the victory of communist labor" under it. Following that are about fifty pages of heavy-stock coated paper with blank certificates of achievement, with placeholders for the photos of the awardees and a lined space in the middle for the description of their achievement. The book is completed with a few ledger pages for recording each awardee.

In excellent condition. The cover shows a little storage wear, mostly the back board. The internal pages are pristine and appear to be all in place.

A large honor book like this was supposed to kept in an organization's HR department, or Communist Party committee. Achievement certificates would be entered, probably during party or trade union meetings, and most likely kept on display in a public place of honor in the headquarters office.
