Soviet Information Bureau Daily War Communique, 9 November 1943.

Single page 5 ½" x 9 ½", front and verso. Circulation 350 copies. The communique's main focus is on the offensive successes of the 1st Ukrainian Front in Kiev Region three days after liberating the city. Liberation of over 80 localities is cited, over a dozen of which are cities, large villages and railroad hubs. Also cited is expansion of the bridgehead on the Kerch Isthmus in Crimea, and successful subversive actions of Belorussian partisans. The entire second page is devoted to the political meetings that took place that day among the troops of several fronts in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the October Revolution and, of course, lauding Stalin as the Great Leader and Commander and agitating the troops to fight harder and drive the invaders off the Motherland's soil.

In excellent condition. The paper is mildly and evenly age-toned, and is just slightly wrinkled at the top edge. No significant wear visible to the naked eye.

Please note that the pen in our photo is for size reference.
