The set includes 4 cups and 4 saucers featuring an elegant airy hand-painted ornament of delicate pink branches with leaves and an assortment of gold-colored butterflies. Each item is maker marked on the bottom. This version of the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory logo was used in the 1950s (fig. # 487 in Volume One of Marks on Soviet Porcelain, Faience, and Majolica, 1917-1991 by Nasonova et al). The red color of the mark indicates top quality rating by LFZ Quality Control.
