Moskovskiy Bolshevik ("The Moscow Bolshevik") Newspaper, #265, 7 November 1944 issue, 27th Anniversary of October Revolution.
Measures approx. 17" x 23", 4 pp. Organ of the Moscow Committee of VKP(b) and the City Council of the Workers' Deputies. The first two pages are the transcription of Stalin's report as Chairman of the State Committee of Defense celebrating the achievements of the Soviet Armed Forces in the Great Patriotic War. Page 2 also features a photo where Mikhail Kalinin, Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the USSR is awarding Stalin with his first Order of Victory.
The rest of the paper posts short articles citing decrees about other awards and awardees, as well as some international news. Unfortunately, a quarter of pp. 3 and 4 is missing. Apparently, someone cut out the article at the left bottom quadrant of p. 4.
In fair to good condition. The paper is missing a quarter of a page, very unfortunately. But Stalin's speech, his large photo on the front page, and the photo of him receiving his first Order of Victory are intact, clear and perfectly legible.
Please note that the pen in our photo is for size reference.
