In brass and enamels, a large and impressive piece measuring 49.2 mm in height, 39.2 mm in width.

Very fine condition. The enamel is overall nicely preserved, having just a single tiny chip at the edge of the blue center medallion at approx. 4 o'clock, barely noticeable. There is a minimal amount of tarnish, mostly in the lower part of the badge, while the original gilt finish is still clearly visible.

Judging by its quality and construction, the badge was most likely issued for outstanding achievements in completing the tasks of the First Romanian Five-Year Plan from 1951-55. A relatively scarce early award.
