In olive drab wool gabardine with cotton liner and red piping. The sweat band is in ersatz leather. The liner has a sewn-in tag of the Kiev Headgear Factory, Ministry of Light (Consumer Goods) Industry of Ukrainian SSR. Stamped Size 55 on the liner (US size 6 7/8 / Small.) Comes with an appropriate hat badge for an officer's service uniform.
