In olive drab wool gabardine with cotton liner and sky-blue piping. The sweat band is in light grey ersatz leather. The liner shows the logo of the Legtekst Corporation's Headgear Factory in Odessa, Ukraine, and a 1992 date of manufacture and size 56 (US 7 / Medium). Comes with an appropriate Soviet AF officer's hat badge.

Excellent condition, apparently never issued or worn. Shows only storage age, no damage or wear of any kind.

Made in the newly independent Ukraine within months after the collapse of the Soviet Union, this hat is in all respects the same as those from the late Soviet era. It was almost certainly manufactured under a 1991 or perhaps earlier Soviet military contract.
