Silver plated brass; measures 23.5 tall x 20.7 mm wide. Features profiles of Stalin and Lenin covering the globe. There are dates "1917-1937" and a Roman numeral "XX" near the bottom.

In outstanding, excellent condition. The details of the bas-reliefs and other artwork are perfect and crisp. The silver plating is exceptionally well preserved showing none of the usual wear to the high points of the portraits and creating a full impression that the badge is made of solid silver. The silver plating on the reverse is likewise perfect. The screw post is full length, over 8 mm, and includes a scarce original screw plate maker marked "1st Jewelry and Silver (Workshop), Metizsoyuz P/Z Soyuzevelirtorga".
