Major general Ivan Yakubovskiy, typed document signed, 1953.
Single page 8" x 11 ¼", front only. This is the "resolution of the approving officer" page of a standard service evaluation and promotional recommendation form. Yakubenko's signature, in purple ink, is to the right of his then current position and rank, Commander of the Armored and Motorized Forces, Carpathian Military District, Guards Major General.
The inscription on the verso does not belong with the evaluation, it's just a list of 4 names of officers whose evaluations have been already completed.
In very good to excellent condition. The page has been torn from the rest of the form with care, leaving just a bit of a frayed edge. All the typed text, Yakubovskiy's signature and seal are clear and perfectly legible. The ink Yakubovskiy used for his signature appears to be watered down, leaving two small watery blots at the loops on top.
