Brass, enamels. Nice quality, three-piece construction badge. The star with a portrait of Georgy Dimitrov and the plaque with the abbreviated name of the school "ВИ-МВР" ("VI-MVR") are separate superimposed parts. On the background is the stylized shield and sword insignia of law enforcement, modeled from the Soviet counterpart. Overall design of the badge also closely resembles Soviet military academy graduation badges.

Excellent condition. The enamel shows beautiful luster and is generally intact having only some tiny hairlines and microscopic contact marks on the arms of the star, no chips flaking. The screw post is full length, over 8.5 mm, and comes with the original maker-marked screw plate.
