In brass; 32.1 mm wide. Features a late-style rounded eyelet struck as one piece with the medal.

In very fine to excellent condition. The medallion is free of noticeable wear of any kind; its raised details are perfect and extremely crisp on both sides. The obverse is literally pristine having a perfectly preserved bright "gilt" mint luster. On the reverse, there is an area of tarnish in the lower left segment, not too detractive. Comes on original aluminum suspension with perfectly preserved, immaculately clean vintage ribbon. Overall, a very attractive example of the less common version of the Victory Medal.
