In olive drab cotton, with cushioning "ribs" and grommeted vent holes. The liner shows a stamp of the Sverdlov Garment Factory with an "89" date of manufacture. Marked size 3 (Extra Large) on the liner, will fit an approx. size 7 ½ - 7 5/8 size head (Russian size 60-61).

In unissued, never used condition but showing rust to the steel grommets and buckles, a typical problem with the Soviet items held in an uninsulated warehouse. Some of the rust has transferred to the surrounding fabric leaving small stains. There are no other condition issues such as soiling, tears, mildew, or musty odor. Good overall and will display nicely.
