Marshal of the Soviet Union K E Voroshilov Skiing, offset print circa 1940s-50s, after a 1937 painting by I Brodskiy.

The color plate measures 12" x 6 ¼". Total size with the backing frame is 13 ¾" x 10 ½". Printed on thin but high-quality paper, affixed by a thin line of glue along the top edge of the print to a thin cardboard backing inside a printed frame. The title of the painting and name of the artist are printed under the lithograph on the right. A handwritten signature of the artist is visible in the bottom right corner of the artwork. The painting depicts a peaceful winter scene of the marshal skiing unhurriedly in the woods, with more skiers further away downhill. The original painting is on permanent display in the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The print is in excellent condition. No damage to the paper of the lithograph whatsoever. The backing cardboard is in very good condition showing just a hint of discoloration due to light exposure along the bottom edge and a barely discernible crease at the right bottom corner, not at all detracting. Even the small stain at bottom right does not detract much from the overall very good condition of the color plate.

Please note that the pen in our photo is for size reference.
