Gilded aluminum, "hot baked" enamel; 41.0 x 25.9 mm. Two-piece construction with separate Soviet state emblem. Raised Moscow Mint logo "MMD" on the reverse.

In excellent condition and includes original screw plate marked "Moscow Mint". The anodized gold finish is nicely preserved and bright, shows only tiny amount of wear to the high points on the national emblem The screw post is approx. 7.5 mm long, may have been reduced by a couple of mm for convenience but still fully functional.
