Award Document for a Partisan Medal, 2nd class, # A-001260, issued on 8 September 1980 to Valentina Goncharova, a female recipient.

Note a very late date of issue, among the latest we have seen for a Partisan Medal. The document, printed in 1975 at the Goznak Factory, is of the same format as the earlier issues: a soft booklet bound in red cloth, with watermarked internal pages. As usual, there is an ink stamp "Valid without a Photograph" in the space provided for a photo of the recipient.

In excellent, near mint condition. The cover shows none of the usual wear or discoloration; its color is vibrant and fresh. s spots but is overall clean and sound. The internal pages are immaculately clean.

A very uncommon award document to a Soviet female WW2 partisan or underground resistance fighter.
